The 'Heritage Language Teaching Materials' series comprises six volumes designed to improve the quality of Heritage Language (ELH) teaching and its relationship to mainstream education. The recipients of the series are current and future ELH teachers, as well as the institutions responsible for ELH in their home and host countries. The Fundamentals and Reference Frameworks manual addresses, among others, central aspects of current pedagogy, didactics and methodology in the countries of western and northern Europe. The notebooks with the didactic proposals contain suggestions and concrete plans for different areas of education. All volumes have emerged in close collaboration with practicing ELH teachers to ensure their early practice orientation and applicability.
